Disability friendly?
I purchased 2 new cars, paying in full, from Kinney Subaru last year and am sorry I did. I will never give them my business again.
Before we start the story, I'm disabled, my salesmen knew this--even registered a car with handicap plates for me. I cannot/ have not driven myself more than 15 miles in the last 6 years.
I was told the cars would be ready for pick up at 9 AM, they were not ready until after noon. I spent the day in pain icing at the dealership.
There was yellow paint on the interior on the car that then needed to be cleaned by my salesmen. Unfortunately I did not see it all over the bumper and inside of a door. I had to clean this myself (hr and a half)- the dealership is an hour away, I can't drive that far and they wouldn't pick the car up or send someone to clean it.
The car did not have all the options that I asked for when I ordered it. I was under constant pressure from the salesmen to accept colors I didn't want because he was struggling to find the car---I said I had no problems waiting if one needed to be ordered. The car did not come equipped with a trailer hitch. I had asked on 2 separate occasions for this. I was told that "if I wanted a trailer hitch I would have to return the car and they would instal one", hard since I can't drive that far. They were unwilling to pick up the car and have the items I ordered installed insisting I return the car. They were unsympathetic to my situation, being handicapped and unable to drive there myself and refused to pick up the car so this work could be done.
That is the service I received at Kinney Subaru when purchasing 2 new cars--paying in full, what kind of service will you have?
